FORMERLY ACTON DIGITAL ACADEMY
FORMERLY ACTON DIGITAL ACADEMY
Welcome to Kaulike Academy, a learner-driven program dedicated to empowering Native Hawaiian youth aged 8-17. Our mission is to foster independence, personal growth, and practical skills to prepare students for meaningful, fulfilling lives and future careers.
With two studio locations—in Mōʻiliʻili and Kaneohe at Waiwai Collective spaces—each studio hosts a maximum of 12 students, immersing them in hands-on, real-world projects that promote critical thinking and self-directed learning. Through community projects, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital skills, and Hawaiian cultural experiences, we equip students with the practical tools they need to thrive. Learners also lead afterschool programs like Tech Savvy Teens and ʻŌpio Popup Makeke, developing essential skills while actively contributing to their communities.
Supported by the VELA Fund, we offer scholarships to ensure inclusivity and diversity. Our programs run in-person Tuesday through Thursday, with Monday's and Fridays reserved for apprenticeships, internships and personal projects. At Kaulike Academy, students are encouraged to embrace their unique talents, engage with their communities, and take ownership of their educational journey.
